The Artist draws us into the painting thanks to the contrasts of the invigorating colors: he promises us wonders if we accept to play in his game in order to mystify the letting sun. He knows that one day it/he will fall asleep and never wake up. He points to the need to protect the environment. Source of life, center of the world, star of the day and of light, associated with fire and gold, the sun is the symbol of the divine, of the Word and of creative power. It represents the strength of the holy spirit that floods and orders creation. Deprived of itself, the Artist will no longer create and will once again become a quidam among many others.
