ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting comes from the series "House of Atreus". There is no exact relation to the Greek mythology but somehow the subject of a praying blind child was fitting. As it goes for the technique I try to look for something new and fresh taking as much as I can from the old masters like Velazquez and Manet which are one of my favorite artists. This much more painterly approach is probably more suiting for my sometimes explosive and quick-tempered character.
