ABOUT THE ARTWORK
There are contours that are visible and some that are serrated, there are that do not belong to the one who carries it and others who are very well defined. It has a hand, standing, mouth, eyes outline, has situations circumventable, there are others that are not. There is a contour for everything. There are people who live well with the contour that life took and there are those who live in search of the one that never existed. Also interesting are the contours that nobody sees. Those that we accidentally accept and that sometimes we need years of eraser to erase. These I call Discontours. This research started in 2016. Motivated by the desire to make it available for the other to get around me. Each edition gained new contours and began to encompass the other's desire to submit to the contour and to experience artistic making, manifesting the creative power that hides in often dusty rooms of our home more intimate.
