THIS IS TWO 18”x24” CANVASES This past year has been extremely rough for many of us. At times I have felt like I’m going insane but somehow keeping myself sane. Purple is the color I feel best fits how I have felt. It feels like it could be the “crazy” color giving that not so good shenanigans vibe, but lighten up into a cool calm feel. Purp/Perp is slang for Perpetrator which also fits how I feel about this last year with all that is going on with not only the pandemic but the “policing”, riots, protests, the storming of the capital, now the shootings. It so much at once and so many Purps! So many emotions from hot (red) to cold (blue) = Purple. I take offers also. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss. This is my mind haha, thank you for listening and looking! ?

E.Strange (Emily Strange) was born in Columbus, Ohio. At a young age she found herself involved in anything creative, including throwing pottery, creating stained glass pieces, and selling art at festivals. She started teaching herself how to paint in 2008 while working to get her GED at a homeless shelter in NJ. Her first painting was featured in an art show in 2009 and since then she has shown her work in a number of different galleries, exhibits, and solo/group shows. She has worked in all mediums, with strengths in photography, painting, text, mixed media, installation, and video. Emily moved to New York City in 2010 to study at Parsons The New School of Design and graduated in 2014 earning her BFA. While studying at Parsons, Emily worked as a freelance photographer, with her photography featured on album covers, websites, and magazines, including Timeout New York. Emily is now a full time artist in Brooklyn, NY using her art as a voice to educate the uneducated on the struggles people like herself go thru, to give hope to people, and to speak out against what’s wrong (politically) and try to make it right.
