In the children's song "Coco the clown", in most circuses in France and Navarre, on television, in the film "Hold-up" by Alexandre Arcady (1985), in which Jean-Paul Belmondo is the clown Grimm, the image of the clown is attached to a man. It is rare to see a female clown. The artist claims equality between the sexes: a social level is reached through this woman proudly wearing a red nose. She has the same magical power as her colleagues to trigger laughter. However, there is a tradition which claims that comedians are often very sad and, I think in this case, in particular of Jacques Villeret who stimulated the smile on the screen, in "The Dinner Game" (1998) by Francis Veber for example and who in life committed suicide out of sadness. However, this woman with the pretty red nose cries all the tears of her body in front of her spectators. She is not ashamed to display her melancholy. Sometimes you have to know how to break the mirror and put your cards on the table. The moral of this painting is beautiful: be yourself and that in the most difficult contexts of life. In addition, her full lips are an invitation to kiss: when a child hurts himself in English, it is said: "kiss it better": "embrace my suffering so that I am better". So, accept the offering, you will do your good deed for the day.
