About The Artwork
The fragile state of questioning one's own self and the reflecting guilt through the process of realisation is what I am trying to express through this work. The confrontational image of the elk(deer) in the flowing stream of water is a scene of one's own questioning. The work is painted using acrylic, ink and silicon carbide powder(carborundum) on canvas, so the overall painting will be quite textured on the surface.
