I painted this during the COVID-19 pandemic, while in lockdown. I caught a glimpse of my reflection in the window and wanted to capture the sense of being locked inside, wanting to get out - and missing the beauty that was present in my own home. The plant "jungle" stands for the tangle of my own emotions during that time.
