About The Artwork
My pets growing up were rabbits, so they have a special place in my heart. I definitely spent a lot of time catching them to put them back in their hutch after paying in the backyard. I utilized block prints and sketches as well as a letterpress set from the 1930's. I like making something whole and cohesive with disparate elements. I am also interested in showing history through the layers of the paint giving my work patina that is suggestive of something beloved and old in contrast with the smooth finish on the work and it's modern graph-like sensibilities.
