About The Artwork
This is one in the very successful Burning Bush Series. They all sold. There were about 7 or 8 in the series..though I had planned to do 12..so may do some more. Most of them were very yellow..or orange...similar to the Golden Trees Series...but more "burning". A painter friend told me that the burning bush in the bible is a "sign from God" of his prescence. They were meant to be as a "fire on the wall" to be alive, and intense...giving spiritual strength to their owners. This particular one is the only one so very red..and it has a slightly industrial feel to me. Anyway it is sold to the same person who bought "Clerical Dresses" a beautiful large painting of a vicar's church garments blowing in the breeze on a washingline, with forgetmeknots growing in the grass beneath.(I do not have a high quality photo of it..but will try to obtain one)
