This piece explores the juxtaposition of geometric "floating" shapes over a dramatic abstract. The shapes are also translucent to reveal the underlying detail...adding to the interest of this piece.

This piece also presents a new idea where I integrated a realistic image of a painted man and women, each climbing on painted elements as if rock climbing. They are non-existent when first gazing at the painting but on closer inspection, they both surprising elements.

After graduating from The Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences, I joined the advertising industry as an art director. My career in advertising soared, culminating in building my own ad agency. I spent several decades consumed professionally with creative expression, print design, photography, television and film production, garnering more than 300 creative awards. But my dream of being a full-time professional artist never escaped my mind. So I sold my business to realize my dream and have a successful practice as a full time abstract conceptual artist. My work harnessing handmade birch cradles, acrylics, collage and found materials, is an arresting blend of styles that highlight tremendous creative range and originality. I have been recognized in both national and international juried shows and have shown my work in galleries across the country from New York City to San Francisco galleries. I am a member of the Brooklyn Waterfront Artist Coalition My work is in private collections worldwide.
