About The Artwork
I took an image of pond lillies and completely turned that image around. The lillies are now red and pancake like floating on a speckled color pond, watched by swaying cattails, emerging from thick bright green leaves. This image is about color, movement and mood, where upon you the viewer feel as though you could wade into this pond and engage with the invading army of red lillies on the march.
