Darina Komorowski (b. 1995, Kazakhstan) is a visual artist and painter based in the UAE (Dubai/Abu Dhabi). Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, she develops a concise, fragmented language with intensified color. Her practice centers on floral imagery—flowers, leaves, and branches—where bouquets become psychological portraits: beauty as a surface that can conceal inner states, compromise, and the irreversibility of time. With training in psychology, Komorowski creates paintings as spaces for attentive looking and emotional recognition, focusing on what remains unseen behind radiant appearances. She holds a BA in Design from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (Almaty), is a resident artist at Kordallery (Berlin). Her works are held in private collections internationally.
