About The Artwork
I was walking next to a pond in Northern Illinois when I saw a strange, large bird fly into a Willow tree, luckily I had my camera with a zoom and was able to snap a few pictures. Was I amazed when I got home and discovered that this was a Reddish Egrette! An endangered species which rarely flies north of Florida. I was amazed by his strength and beauty. This is one of the two painting that I did of him. It is mixed media on wooden panel. Information about the animal is written on the edges. It is mixed media on a wooden panel
