About The Artwork
The painting is inspired by the photographer Roger Arnold. It shows the flee of Rohingya refugees seeking shelter in Bangladesh. It does not matter where the refugees come from, or where they end up - their lives have already changed forever. As a syrian myself, painting this specific image has been a very emotional experience for me.
