ABOUT THE ARTWORK
There was a time where I liked painting on found objects. i would search through bulk trash in my neighborhood and was fortunate enough have discovered the back of a broken Cello. Objects like these serve as fresh, new, and challenging surfaces to create abstract imagery to give new meaning to the overall piece. The title to the artwork conveys such an idea where even though the form suggests a broken instrument, it still provides wonderful visual music to enjoy, regardless of what you initially see.
