Enrique Pichardo's portrait continues the artist's search to communicate through his work. Each piece is endowed with a message that comes from the depths of his being, sometimes unknown even to the artist himself. The complexity of Enrique Pichardo's work lies in deciphering what the painter has to share. With expressive and emotive lines and strokes of color, the visual artist traverses and invents his own language. His lines evoke tales of great artists such as Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondrian, Paul Klee, Jackson Pollock, José Manuel Merello, Juan Gris and Albert Gleizes. Being the style of the unique master, with a mixture of everything that he defines as Naif. The background of the work is red, "Retrato" is a particularly abstract piece, a colorful face with white strokes that highlight its features. Painted in acrylic on canvas, it measures 160 x 150 cm. The strong, bold and dynamic style of painter Enrique Pichardo is a contemporary representation of Mexican expressionism - he recognizes that his technique is very simple. He is very desperate, anxious and obsessive-compulsive, so his brush is handled in haste to see in a short time how far the work can go. The same one decides when to stop, then the work is produced as a game without rules, where he knows how to play, but he does not know what will happen in the process or what the outcome will be. With more than 30 years of career, his paintings have been acclaimed and sold around the world. His works are now part of great collections in different countries. Singapore and Spain are some of the countries witnessing Master Pichardo's international exhibitions.

The Mexican plastic artist, Enrique Pichardo, has more than 30 years of experience as a painter. His technique and style combine artistic influences from other countries with the traditional Mexican influence. In his own words, he defines his art as naive expressionism. The plastic work of Enrique Pichardo has more than one aspect. On the one hand, he creates works that are densely populated with shapes, figures, and colors. On the other hand, he has abstracted urban landscapes with a neutral color palette that recreates everyday situations. However, the special characteristic that maintains the cohesion of all his pieces is the conviction of approaching art through a return to his childhood and his first traces. Paint like a child, paint with more expression than technique, paint with feeling over technique. The painter seeks the skillful strokes of his inner child to carry out each of his pieces.
