Autumn plays with leaves turning out patterns of oriental carpets forever weaving your identity into the tapestry of all. This artwork is about the cycles of nature, human identity, life and death, an imprint of one's life, one's life as a thread in nature's tapestry, and a reflection on the origins of all. I used dry flora from my garden,neon plastic alphabet letters, mono prints from the dry flora, plaster, and pulverized dry plants and eggshells to create my painted "carpet". Many layers of paint reveal and obscure elements of the composition. Sides painted white. Ready to hang.
