Revolution Painting

*RELIVING - ART BY YOTI* ART MEETS SUSTAINABILITY. Having lived, acquired art and academic education, as well as immersed in cross-cultural influences spanning Copenhagen, Seattle, New York and Tel Aviv, Yoti's artworks explore the intersection of the global, the local and the ecology of sustainability. Her work is a mosaic of experiences of being foreign and belonging, as well as the power of personal choice. It is displayed in homes in the United States, Denmark, Spain and Israel. When moving people and objects from their origin, we create inherent tension. Fragmented experiences that are continuously reshaped and enriched by the sum of past inspirations. *ReLiving* is a project and perspective, which Yoti has taken on with the first wave of COVID, as a practice of repurposing art and giving it new life. It draws inspiration from colors, themes, and forms, embracing both the physical and spiritual aspects of sustainability. Taking us through the journey from one background and culture - to another. This project offers paintings that once held deep meaning to us, a second chance to inspire. Over time, objects that were once meaningful and dear to our hearts, may lose their significance and fade into recycling material. *ReLiving* reflects the interconnectedness and balance between human choice and our ecosystem, paying homage to the old by means of inspiration on the new. I believe that artists can play a role by turning their artwork to a practice of sustainability.
