Robin's Nest Painting

My name is Pamela Willis Hegarty and I'm an American Mid-Westerner specializing in bold and colorful acrylic paintings on canvas. A lover of the outdoors, my abstract and impressionist style represent my passion for architecture and all living things. I grew up studying art and consumed myself with it, developing my skill in painting over the years inspired by many art instructors and mentors. I express in my works the essence of mother nature in whimsical and spiritual way. I imagine a rainbow of light dancing around my subject. My desire is to spread colorful joy and transport the viewer to a magical place. I earned by degree in Radiologic Science and have worked in Heathcare ever since. It was the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 when I decided to focus on my art again. For the last 4 years, I been painting and participating in local art shows and exhibits. My passion for art has been renewed and I can't imagine ever stopping.
