This piece is very special to me, it's not for sale at the moment. I started with collage, as I was looking for scraps of paper I came across an ultrasound of my firstborn child. I added it and while painting it kept peaking through, so I decided to keep it uncovered (mostly). Can you spot the him?

I’m an abstract landscape painter based in Bologna, Italy. Nature is what influences me most, I grew up in South Africa, among beautiful colourful sunsets, tempestuous skies and majestic oceans. I’ve been in Italy since 2009 and here, too, I am constantly amazed at God’s creation, skies being my primary inspiration. I love walking in nature, I hardly take photographs, I love to soak in the colours and atmosphere and as soon as I get home I paint my feelings onto the canvas or paper. This leads to the intuitive style that distinguishes my work, I’m happy to have you here 🙂
