About The Artwork

Rome. Italy. View of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican from the Tiber River. Watercolor sketch. Worldwide shipping included. This sketch was written by me based on my memories from a trip to Rome. Inspired by the most beautiful week in this eternal city. Rome was sunny, crowded and incredibly romantic. Delicious food, the singing of cicadas, crowds of tourists, the hospitality of the locals. Beautiful beaches, blooming oleanders, incredible ancient architecture. Rome and Italy conquered and fell in love with them forever. I hope that this sketch and a series of my paintings in Italy will also appeal to the new owners to hang at home or buy as a gift for acquaintances and friends. The picture shows the Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica and the bridge over the Tiber River. I recommend to draw a watercolor painting under anti-reflective museum glass with a passe-partout and a baguette to protect the painting from ultraviolet radiation, moisture and dust. I hope the painting will delight the new owner for many years to come.

Hello friends! Post is an acquaintance for those who see only my drawings and do not know me personally. My name is Viktoria Gaman, I was born in Russia in March, 1981. Now I live and work in Turkey, I am an artist and illustrator. I paint and write using different techniques and different materials, such as dry pastel, watercolor, oil, ink and ink, markers. But my favorite material is soft pastels. I can express a lot in pastels and oils, and the main thing is to preserve the brightness of the color and create a realistic image. My favorite trends in painting are realism and impressionism. I am inspired by nature, animals and birds, as well as travel. I want to do what I love sincerely and honestly. Show people the world as I see it. I want beauty and kindness to triumph around. This is not yet possible, but we must strive for this. Strive to overcome human vices. And to keep the planet the way God created it - beautiful, full of variety of animals. And it is in the paintings that I show the beauty of animals, their feelings, the beauty of nature, the beauty of man and his emotions. The world is full of imperfections and dirt. You should not produce it in creativity. My personal opinion.
