This piece was created over the span on 2 years, as the painting evolved in to it's final work. This natural, textured painting represents life in the form of roots - however it is intended to be at the viewers discretions of what those roots may be. For some it is the roots of a tree, a flowing river or other the birth canal of a mother. The 2 channels in the piece represent the before, the now and the after with intention to show the fragility and beauty of our lives and how we are a part of the natural cycle of nature. This piece was recently exhibited in Baltazar's solo exhibition - Birth, Earth and Death.
