Faisal Siddik, 01 June 1999. My name is Faisal siddik and I come from Indonesia. I see art as a point of view and make art a vessel for thought processes in seeing reality. Drawing from experiences and feelings that are often present throughout life, works of art become a medium for immortalizing and processing every experience into deep reflection. In this creation process, art becomes a means of dialogue between what was once felt and how it is understood today. Every personal moment, be it happiness, sadness, presence, or loss, becomes the foundation for looking back at the meaning behind it and creating space for other people to share in the feeling and interpretation. Through art, I experience phase after phase to understand who I am, exploring the uniqueness, contradictions and layers that exist within myself. With every stroke of color, stroke, or small detail that is outlined, I feel closer to myself, as if art guides me to accept, even love, all the advantages and disadvantages that exist. Art becomes a space for deep introspection, where I can let go of boundaries and transcend barriers to explore feelings that may be difficult to describe in words. Each work is a small trace of this long journey, the process of unraveling inner complexity and reconstructing one's understanding of oneself. With each step, I discovered that art not only brings a particular moment or emotion to life, but also brings all parts of the self together to become more whole.
