The subject was painted by a lot of Renaissance painters like Guido Reni for example and others painters. It is about the "Mascacre of Innocents". The woman is disperated for the dead of her's childrens. "The sower it is a symbol of death. This painting is unique. In this artwork is represented the vergance of Emperor Irod. In the Bible is mentioned a passage when the Irod command their army to kill all new born chidren. In this painting "The sower" represent a vergance of Irod for the children to find the Jesus child. In the center of the painting I paintend womens in suffrance. She cry their dead childrens. The soldiers kill the children and the scene is dynamic. Composition is simetric and in the middle of the painting is created a "Portret of Death" by the women's closes.
