SWIMMER Painting

This has been one of my favourite paintings to create and live alongside. Everyone who sees it is immediately drawn to the watery reflections of the green surrounds, often not noticing the swimmer until they are close up, which always makes me smile. I think humans cannot help but feel a desire to look at nature and there is a beautiful relationship that we have with it that cannot be put into words. There is a soft connection between our deep inner world and the invisible voice that nature offers to us. This is painted in oil paint, on a wooden panel/stretcher support that I made and primed myself. Upon deciding to release these works for sale, I have worked with a carpenter to place my more creative artist frames into finer oak tray frames, which he has stained black. I am very pleased with these as I think you will be. We both agreed as they are not heavy, they are best hung either placed on a simple wall screw, or using wall velcro.
