Once a year, in June, the horses that have been living wild in Doñana Marshes in Huelva (Spain) are gathered and driven to Almonte where their manes are cut and their hooves are shoed ready for sale. After five days they are taken back to the marshes. This event has been taking place for hundreds of years.
