About The Artwork

this painting is part of my series around the feminine and the sacred fire: pleasure of being oneself, celebration of physical feelings and the impetus of life. The naked woman is a sexual subject, aware of her own creative power, of her own femininity, beauty, sensuality. She listens to herself, with closed eyes and a hand that holds her heart. She is free to be without worrying about the outside world. Pleasure, like golden honey, slides from the lips of her sex. Waves of water and blood mix. It is a celebration of life, fertility and creative power.

A plural artist of Italian origin, an adoptive Parisian, I am a painter, illustrator, dancer, choreographer, actress, director and author. My research revolves around the Human Being, the Feminine and Alchemical Marriage, often inspired by fairy tales, mythology and theater. I have a visceral love for all the arts since I was little. Dance, painting, writing, theater were my Friends, my Allies, my Nurses; necessary, like the air we breathe, essential and pure like water, nourriture of my inner earth, magical bridges that allowed my mind to touch on the “Greater Than ALL”. The Arts were my benchmarks in my childhood and today they are part of my Being as compasses, grounds for evolution, vehicles of beauty and authenticity. As a very imaginative Child, I rested in his Arts, structuring myself little by little with perseverance and tenacity. My relationship with the Arts was vital as was my relationship with Animals and Nature which helped me reconnect with my animal part, with my feelings, very linked to femininity and spirituality. All my Arts are connected to each other to serve the Human Being in the journey of knowledge towards Self-Love. Self-taught in painting, after studying visual communication at the Politecnico in Milan, I undertook a Master's degree in Theater Sciences and Techniques in Venice. I then worked as an assistant director at the Teatro Stabile in Turin, the Teatro Due in Parma, the Teatro Libero in Milan and at the Auditorium Verdi in the same city. Co-director with Davide Ortelli for the opera La Didone by Francesca Cavalli at the Teatro Malibran in Venice, at the Teatro Carignano in Turin, at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. I arrived in Paris in 2007 for an internship in the Comédie Française's production of Molière's Le Misanthrope, directed by Lukas Hemleb. During the year 2007/2008, I followed the first year of training at the Jacques Lecoq International Theater School and the Movement Study Laboratory (LEM) course. I am trained in classical dance, by Angelo Moretto and in contemporary dance. In Paris I discovered the Graham technique. I regularly train in classical, Graham and contemporary dance. In Paris, I regularly and passionately create several plays and several video creations around identity, resilience and awakening consciousness.
