Born in in 1956 Thesselonika, Greece and moved to the United States at the age of 11. Coming to a strange new land in which left me with much to discover, much to learn. Reading through the Sears catalogue, I taught myself how to speak English. I push my self to explore, learn, and grow. Mostly, self taught, my inspiration comes from within. My art represents an outward expression of life's experiences. In visits to Italy, I worked on marble sculpture restoration. Around 1999, I opened Siri Stone Carving studio Chicago where we created and taught students to explore this expression. I have participated in art restoration in Greece and joined many art exhibits in oil painting, public art, and sculptures in Chicago and Greece. I have studied the method in large scale sculpting, Iconagrafy at St George in Indiana and have worked in metal sculptures welding moulding and making Bronze
