Sometimes he works in the style of marginalized kitsch, mixing elements of pop art, expressionism and primitive painting. At the same time, figurativeness and expressiveness in his work often go hand in hand with a stable ironic position. In spirit, Frol's painting is close to the St. Petersburg line of non-conformist art. Frol Veseliy decided to become an artists at the age of 28, and today he is considered as the brightest representative of the so-called BezymyanArt, a direction that is distinguished by industrial and factory themes and drutal and coarse ways of expressing creative thoughts. The impulsive nature of the artist became the reason for his love for acrylic, which dries very quickly, allowing not to spend too much time on the implementation of a creative idea. However, Frol is not limited to painting, using the most diverse techniques in his experiments: he works perfectly with wood, mastered welding and plasma cutting, which makes it possible to use such “rough” materials as rusty iron, which help to emphasize the urgency of the problems that the artist touches on. The art of Frol is - emotion, irony and thought. He is inspired by everyday stories and does not like to work at rest - for creativity he needs stress and vivid emotions, otherwise the work will turn out to be lifeless. The artist likes to work in "series", believing that it "disciplines well." Frol very calm about criticizing his work, noting that he criticizes his own works much harder than all critics combined. This is one of the few artists who can speak warmly and well about the work of his colleagues.
