This painting is a representation of sadness. Taking an unorthodox approach by replacing darker and gloomy colours with brighter ones instead. I try to convey that sadness has a way of masking and surpressing it when others are around.

Bianca Kremer is an artist originally from The Netherlands before moving to Singapore. Her love for art started at an early age, viewing the artworks of Dutch masters. She was particularly inspired by Ruysdael and Van Gogh. Later she studied history of art at university, but came quickly to realise that she wanted to paint.Moving to Singapore gave her the final edge to practice painting and taking up courses. Her abstract style is heavily influenced by the colours of flora, fauna, fabrics and scents of Asia. Bianca actively explores different ways to convey specific emotions in her paintings by using contrasting and bold colours, Artists such as CY Twombley's expressionist style and Andy Warhol's bright fluorescent colours are strong influences in discovering her style. Bianca Kremer will continue to pursue her dream as a painter and wishes to excite her viewers even more. Her work has been sold to collectors all over the world i.e. Miami, Austin, Paris (LVHM) and Singapore. Instagram: bianca_kremer
