I am full time street artist
MY STORY
People often ask me where I get the inspiration for my work. Funnily enough, they are my inspiration! Street art is more than a job for me — it’s the love of my life. My paintings are my family, and my therapists office.
I moved from Iran to Australia 12 years ago, not knowing what will await me here. I didn’t speak any English, and had to learn everything about this culture from zero. Having come from a third world country, there was a lot of new. And, most importantly, a lot of new found freedom.
I left Iran for a better life. A life where I could say what I want, dress how I want, support the political party I want, and paint what I want, without being persecuted. I wake up every morning in Australia feeling like this is the best day of my life.
I started taking street art seriously in Byron Bay. I lived and worked there for seven years, a time I will always cherish. But it was moving to Melbourne that really kicked off my career — people here appreciate art, and have an eye for fresh ideas.
