Hard rock, Sandvig's shore City of stone, Bornholm's pride Haiku of the sea. Painting from Sandvig on North Bornholm with geometric abstraction of urban infrastructure upon a hard rock subsurface. The city of Allinge is situated near lake from the granite stones was excavated and transported to Copenhagen. The view is in a North Eastern direction with red-purple sky and a light blue sea. I have added a few windows in order to provide a stronger overall composition. The focal point is around the circular green circle (an urban forest?), acting as a complementary color to the red roofs. The strong white on the house to the left of help to make this section a focal point.

I am a Danish hydrologist currently working as a principal investigator and researcher at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland at Øster Voldgade 10, 1350 in Copenhagen (working in close cooperation with Copenhagen University institute for geology and geography). I am known for my research in the field of hydrogeology, with a focus on groundwater resources and their management, as well as the impact of climate change on groundwater systems. I have published many papers in the international scientific journals, and I am also a member of several scientific organisations.
