Painting, Acrylic on Canvas

Painting: Digital painting printed on canvas and accented with acrylic paint and crushed rose quartz crystals. *NOTE* The 1st image is the digital version for Saatchi to use for the prints. The rest of the images are of the actual painting. Inspired by the gentle signs that come to us through dreams and songs. Music inspires everything I do. The visual artistry of Kpop drew me to it. The thought and substance behind the visuals and sound, made me fall in love with it. This was done in gratitude to for all it’s given me, and the way music allows us all to dream. **Note about pricing. I choose prices for the numbers themselves more than anything else.

‘My art is for the bad asses. The ones who have had their hearts and souls ripped apart multiple times, and are somehow, still breathing. The ones that don’t know how to give up, but often wish they did. You are the ones I love. You are the ones I hope my work is a constant reminder that... All of your broken edges are what make you so damn beautiful.’ - Jazmin 'Jaz Kitty’ Ruotolo ------------------------------------------------------------ Jazmin’s career started on the forefront of Urban/Street fashion in the 90s. She is a part of the K.A.Kitties fashion consulting team (where she got the nickname ‘Jaz Kitty’) and has designed for nearly every American Hip-Hop Artist in existence, from The Notorious B.I.G to Nicki Minaj. Music has always inspired her work and gives her art and design style a street edge. Some of her biggest influences include Andy Warhol, Patrick Nagel, Manga artists such as Tite Kubo and Shirow Miwa as well as the many brilliant but unrecognized artists she has met along the way. She spent several years traveling the Anime/Comic Convention circuit selling Fan Inspired Art and Originals. She is currently still designing in New York City and illustrating the on-going graphic novel, ‘Model Life’, written by Isobella Jade. It can be found on the ComicsPlus app and Amazon.
