ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When we miss someone, we relive pur moments together in completely unexpected ways: a taste, perfume, or some seemingly trivial memory are enough to uncover the chasm inside of us. It is the emptiness that this person had left and nothing can fill it. Perhaps it is better to learn to live suspended in that void as if it were our best support. Why do I choose to paint with oil? I couldn't imagine to paint with anything else. It is one of the few materials that allows me to create matter, to make the figures breathe on the canvases. It allows me a spontaneous, emotional and impulsive painting. It gives the time necessary to my brushstrokes to express the feeling that is pounding in my heart.

That's why my brushstrokes are full of color, and the subject is almost always the woman with a particular focus on the eyes, which I trivially can say is the window to the soul. My paintings are the emotional response of what I observe and through the interpretation, I explore my inner world. Learn to listen to your emotions and you will learn to know yourself. Is there anything more beautiful than living in integrity towards your purpose in life? I hope that by looking at my paintings, strong emotions arise.
