About The Artwork

This one of a kind handmade painting came to mind whilst travelling around Spain, inspired by watching the flamenco dancing in Seville. My palette includes but is not limited to sky blues, bold reds and earthy yellows while hints of metallic paint can be seen to illuminate the surface. Multiple layers of paint have been applied to give a screen print like opacity. Bold, calligraphic lines are overlaid with jewelled pointillism atop lush shapes of saturated colour. An expressive piece infused with pointillism interesting detail and subtle texture. Embellished with metallic gold, sky blue and rose acrylic paint that glimmers on the surface. Señorita Dancing was one of five paintings from my Spanish series exhibited at Agora Gallery New York City in May - June 2015. Artist initials painted by hand on front, artist full name painted on the back of canvas. Unframed. Shipped rolled in tube.

Born in Brisbane, Australia. A budding artist from a young age who went on to study a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Fine Art, since then I have been documenting life's experiences in visual diaries, keeping track of life's moments. Over time I developed a series of illustrations in a sketchbook these have been transformed into limited edition monochrome prints, a series of paintings and unique sculptures. Exhibiting internationally since 2015, one of my creative goals was achieved in June 2022 when my paintings where exhibited in my first solo exhibition in Milan, Italy. Presented by Monteoliveto Gallery. Most recently I have created a series of ornate ceramic wall art sculptures themed around the elements of nature. Four of these sculptures were exhibited as photographs in a group collective exhibition in Milan, Italy.
