Sea gooseberries are a kind of little jellyfish or comb jelly. They are maybe an inch long and sometimes they wash up on the beaches near my home. If the light is right they glow and cast light onto the rocks around them. I think they are beautiful and love the way they illuminate the flints. This is a large oil on canvas and at the time of typing it is unsold.

I'm Sheila Robinson, an artist currently living and working in a village called Southrepps on the North Norfolk coast in the UK. I used to live in Sweden and I have lived in quite a few places around the UK. I make paintings, books, sculptures and sometimes prints. I've exhibited work all over the place and won a few awards for my painting. I used to teach, now I just focus on my own work.
