I’m a Danish artist living in southern Denmark and I am fascinated with sunlight! I am especially captivated by sunlight in the forest where it changes every hour of every day throughout the year. This has become like an obsession for me.
With my paintings I’m hoping to give the audience a feeling of peace within the world, and perhaps remind them of a good time during childhood.
Painting the way I do, with a picture/impressions in my head that transfers through my hand directly to the canvas is so satisfying. I go into my ‘’artistic bubble’’ where the strokes don't need to be precise, the more random the better.
I'm a self-taught artist, with no formal courses or schooling . I have developed my own unique style: realistic with a hint of the abstract thereby encouraging the viewer to complete the story through their own interpretation. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them.
