Seasound Painting

hello. I am juyoung park from south.korea. and I'm deaf. In different life between normal and abnormal, my identity is so hard. but I love myself, my body and my soul~~ My life is so silent. So mostly I express the wave of the silence. I majored in Western painting in college, after that, I quit my job and started a performance art in 2002 while working part-time job. The realm of my expression has extended from pen on paper to acrylic on canvas, namely, from drawings to paintings, object installations, sound recordings, videos, and performances. In 2012, I had illust collaboration with fashion designer who I met as an introduction of the disabled welfare center in Gangnam. I went to Nepal for art volunteer with sponsored crayons and watercolors after solo exhibition in 2014. After the my slump, I moved to Seoul Jamsil Art Residency Studio for two years from 2017 and held a solo exhibition at the Ruben Gallery in Seoul in 2018 with support for the disabled culture and arts. In November of the same year, I went to the solo performance and drawing exhibition art tour at the invitation of the Japanese Artist or director Shimoda Seiji.
