N.07- diptych Painting as a field of inner freedom The cycle of oil paintings, which Zrinka Ocelić named "Look further than your eyes can see", has been created since 2006. Design-wise, her works are related to abstract expressionism, as the stroke (spot, scratch, sweep, trail) is the carrier of the message, which in the feeling of a painter visualized in reality. The great painter of the 20th century, Francis Bacon, when thinking about the process of creating his works, spoke about an important moment that happens unplanned, perhaps unconsciously, and which decisively affects the final result and image of the work. He called it "accident" or "accidental". In this involuntary randomness, due to the influence of the nature of the process of such a way of painting, in an uncontrolled moment, because as a result it hides a field of freedom that is, so to speak, enigmatic and therefore interesting for the creator himself. Insistence on this randomness, paradoxically, gives birth to necessity, which manifests itself as the artist's painting technique. Personal, unique, unique to her, a painter's handwriting by which she is recognizable and therefore different from imitators and plagiarists. This seemingly easy way for her was formed during many years of dedication to a medium whose last hour has been predicted for decades and is therefore (precisely due to its manual nature compared to digital tools) all the more valuable.
