About The Artwork
I was discharged from Korean army and graduated from school. I have not encountered human political and social solidarity within the framework of capital and military states. Although I live as a artist, I am not aware of what modernism is. Freedom from the absurdity and oppression of the world became a ground for the existence of painting. I could be free in the nature of abstraction. It became a channel to excrete pent-up and accumulated energy. I was able to sense the feelings of life via another pain from freedom, and I was able to get closer to the nature of life when I came to recognize and love as it is.
