About The Artwork
This painting stems from a photograph that I took in my local woods of various seedheads such as hogweed as there has been extensive planting by conservation volunteers. I manipulated the photograph and printed it onto canvas and then I have painted the background with iridescent pearlescent paint. It looks wonderful and dramatic in different lights, especially artificial light. It makes great decor art and sizes and colours can be changed to suit interiors.
