This artwork inspired by soedjojono the famous painter of indonesia, then the artwork told about the first Dutch aggression Aceh (Indonesia’s regional area) which occurred on 1873-1874 year that the dutch wanted Aceh to obey to the dutch rule, but Aceh that was still led by the largest Islamic empire in southeast Asia at that time, refused it in a way will fight against the dutch. So at that time, the dutch focused the attack on the Baiturrahman mosque which was a sacred point for the Acehnese. The religion, customs, culture, territory and heredity are Price For Aceh itself that must be at stake.
