About The Artwork
The work was done in oil paints on linen canvas stretched on a wooden frame. Decorative gold background created with gold leaf, the picture is varnished. The painting is sold in a high-quality plastic frame (frame width 5 cm (2 inches), ready for hanging. Size of the picture without frame: 50x40 cm (19.69x15.75 inches). Size of the picture in the frame: 58.5 cm x 48.5 cm (23x19.09 in.) I got the idea to write such a self-portrait when I studied and copied pictures of old masters: Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and others.
