Serie Couleur n.27 Painting

Art is a way we share the dialogue between inner and outer worlds. For me the way in to creating a painting or piece of art has often been through legends, poems or meditations, along with texture of line or color. I often work in series of smaller pieces that can be combined together to form a larger body to fill a wall, or more! Series of 9"x6" images can be placed as groups in a rectangular block, a square, a circle, a line - it is up to the collector's imagination. Favorite mediums are pen and ink drawing, egg tempera, water media with wax finish and mixed mediums on paper. I use non toxic materials whenever possible and sometimes make my own paints to add to the mix.
