Series: “Knapweed. Field. Pathway. Journey.” Part 6 Painting

Hello, dear art lovers)) I’m Olly Starry and I’m the artist. I started painting when I was three years old and all my first artworks were abstractions, then I thought it was not art and I had long break in my art. I’m a self-taught, art schools tried to kill my talent and make my art according to rules, but in abstract art rules are forbidden. Then something happened in my life and I began to draw a lot of fine art - maybe it was growing up period of my personality - I began to see everyday things, feelings and problems expressed in the form of abstract symbols and began to transfer them to the canvas. I was born and raised in Russia, now I live in Moscow, but I travel a lot and usually I see different things in different countries which I need to transfer in art. In my non-art life I work as a business analyst and this fact also influenced my art: you can see names of my pictures consist of one or three words and you don’t understand relationships between art and name, but I see it - I see all link between these words and their transformation in my art. My art is for you, for your thinking about problems or goods depicted on my canvas - I want people begin to look inside and understand something, thinking deeper. And one picture may mean different things to two different people - it is one of the main goal of my abstract art. Watch, relax and be inside me and the world. I was influenced in my creativity by lots of artists of 20th century, of course preferably by abstract painters. What is my inspiration? - people, situations, feelings, problems... I see, I watch, I remark, I regard, I twig... Then I make it in a picture. I use different techniques - what I feel today - I use today. Mediums can be also different - I prefer acrylics. s)/technique(s)of choice and may mean different. My art can be found in private collections in Russia, USA, Italy, OAE and other countries.
