ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This series contains 13 different works. Price is lower than when buying one piece. All the works are framed. The offer is valid until one of the works is sold separately. The photo in the frame is illustrative. The canvas is signed from the back. In the Past and Future set, I have reworked my original works displaying paintings from old family photos. I used the previous painting as the background to which I incorporated new elements. ** My paintings mixture of several visual techniques and directions. I use stencils, hand printing on canvas, but also classical acrylic painting or drawing. Works I create are actually the great painting collages, formed into one entirety. The art I create is inspired by on street art, graffiti, pop culture, primitive art, expressionism and collage. My inspiration are also photos from present and the near past, when I took a part from original picture and put it into new context in my painting. Besides to hand-printing there appear in my work elements influed by ruined plaster, taggs, flayed posters. Theese parts are cultivated by pure – painted fields.

Miloš Hronec focuses on painting. He comes from Bratislava and this environment has gradually formed him artistically. Author works with oil painting, acrylic, spray and drawing. His formal epression is based on expressionism, street art and graffiti. " The paintings are expressive. I shape the human figure freely. In places I consciously distort. Calm parts of the painting alternate with violent, gestural strokes. The slow-drying oil is later contrasted with quick-drying acrylic and spray. Portrait paintings alternate figuratively. The image of the child alternates with the old man, next to the woman is a man. One experiences happiness, another suffers mentally. I sometimes get almost to abstraction from less expressive characters. I created most of the paintings intensively over a period of a year and a half. I repainted many works repeatedly, many completely erased. During creation, my idea of what and how I want to portray gradually developed. It was a living process. I often reflected my own crises, suffering, but also joys into the characters on the canvases." The technique is primarily a combination of traditional oil painting and spray painting. My work is figurative and expressive. A combination of proven art procedures and improvisation." The author’s works are part of private collections in the US, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Israel and many European countries. --------
