ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A result of several experiments using thread, folklore influences, finding their strength within a minimalistic canvas. This composition has only made use the cotton, linen's natural colour and gesso. The threads colours are browns, different tints of beiges, and white thread. There have been shells of Chango integrated into the work. The strength of the painting lies in its subtlety, and this particular work came to life when I was seeking to make myself a painting that would bring light and at the same time blend into the walls.
