Bossert is a dedicated, multi-disciplinary artist and educator based in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, with a lifelong passion for creative expression that spans painting, drawing, clay work, jewelry design, and upcycled sustainable clothing. Her artistic journey began in childhood, where she was often described as a daydreamer in school, constantly sketching and imagining. This early drive led her to earn a Master's degree in Painting at the remarkably young age of 23, supported by a devoted husband, while also holding a teaching credential that has fueled her commitment to sharing knowledge through classes, workshops, and mentorship. With a fearless approach to materials and techniques, Nancy embraces experimentation across mediums—no mistake is final, only an opportunity for discovery, as captured in her guiding motto: "No mistakes in art, just opportunities." Her work defies a single signature style, reflecting her dynamic inner world: fluid, loose landscapes inspired in part by the introspective days of COVID; expressive figurative pieces that shift between tight realism and gestural freedom depending on her emotions; whimsical farmyard animal paintings that evoke joyful nostalgia from her Lancaster County upbringing amid Amish farms; large-scale tapestry-like florals; and innovative pieces in stoneware, handcrafted jewelry, and sustainable fashion upcycled from found materials. A full-time professional artist since her early career, Nancy maintains an active studio practice, often working on multiple pieces simultaneously, each revealing a different facet of her versatile vision. The unifying thread throughout her diverse body of work is a deep emphasis on balance, composition, and unbridled passion. Regular sales of her art sustain her vibrant family life and fuel her ongoing creativity, while she manages every aspect of her independent business—from photographing and shipping works to handling commissions, teaching inquiries, and exhibition logistics. Nancy exhibits consistently and teaches enthusiastically, believing that art is a shared, living process. Her life and work come full circle through themes of joy, exploration, and connection to her roots, inviting collectors, students, and admirers to follow along on this ever-evolving creative adventure. Follow her journey to experience the full spectrum of her artistry—where passion ties everything together.
