" As long as i could remember Art has been a major influence in my life." I was born in the land of almond eyes and straight black hair, filled with the Spirit of South Korea. I arrived in the United States in mid Seventies at the age of three in the shadows of my Brother, Mother and Father. As a young boy i grew up a short distance from San Francisco and have been filled with the Bounty of Blessings of the Art, experiencing the Artistic Nature in Various Cultures and Mediums that surrounded me, absorbing as much as i could outside the walls of any Art institute and using the Knowledge gained in a manner not formally recognized, enabling me to be a self taught Artist. The earliest memories of my life in art was when i was around six years old. i asked my mom if she could draw a picture of these frogs that were salt and pepper shakers. i remember watching her draw and being fascinated of the fact that a simple pencil could creatively bring out imagination into reality. From that point on i tried to draw everything i saw and could imagine. Growing up i used many mediums to be just creative. whether it was drawing Logos for businesses, illustrating for personal request or writing Poetry. i nurtured what now became so Natural to me. In my teenage years i started a Business in air brushing and focused my studies in school in Architecture, While attending Junior College studying the aspects of Architecture i took an elective in Drama and that begun to pave another road of Passion all the while continuing to feed my childhood Fascination as an Artist. At the Age of Twenty Three i packed what i needed, my paintings and bed and moved to Los Angeles to chase the Dreams of becoming the next Movie Star. in that time i worked infront as well as behind the Camera and rewrote scipts. A couple years later i moved back to the Bay Area and attended a short term of College for film. Now in my late twenties i had the experience as a Writer, Director, Producer and the desires to go back to Los Angeles. I moved back down south with the intentions of making movies and by accident had my First Art show. Trying to keep my Dreams alive as a film maker and as an Artist painter i was constantly being pulled into two differnet directions and i had to choose one to completely full fill. I realized what came natural to me was my childhood Passion as an Artist Painter. "Growing up i recognized my Talent as an Artist from the people who Recognized it in me.
