This depicts a siren singing to a skull, an image I had in my head for a while after reading The Odyssey. To me, this image is a symbol of beauty with its implied opposite. The sirens face spells two feelings, of sorrow and cunning, questioning whether those who hurt others with their love are sympathetic of their actions.
